Surviving wooden Fairfield County road sign February 2023

            Maybe the last one. The Alspach/Cedar Hill post one mile west was destroyed a couple years ago. [Maybe I had some sort of premonition when I took this picture and posted it. In mid April I rolled up to the intersection and realized that it was gone. Around that time I had also called the sheriff’s department (county) to report that one of the intersection’s four stop signs was gone - a very dangerous situation! - and it was quickly replaced. In retrospect, I wonder if there was any connection between the two missing signs.]
