Chapman, Kansas EF4 Tornado (Explored)

            This is what dreams are made of right here. We decided to chase a marginal day in Kansas, with mega cape in place with an outflow boundary present near the triple point it, it was a gamble we were willing to take. The main thing missing was shear and a strong cap. But, if a storm could go, and latch to this boundary, we knew something could come out of it. We had no idea we'd document two tornadoes. One of them being a very violent, EF4 wedge tornado with incredible structure above and would be on the ground for nearly 30 miles! We managed t get within 100 yards of this beast which i'll post pictures of later. But this shot of a massive tornado, below an incredible clear cut meso with the sunshine from behind was to good to pass up posting.
