Hard! Ceratina collusor and Apis cerana, Tanjung Mangsit, Senggigi, Lombok, Indonesia

            It was hard, Dear Flickr Friends, to decide what to show you today. I was again on Tanjung Mangsit, a favorite hunting spot for Olymp, and there was so much to see and record. I'd stumbled about a bit and nearly broke my neck on a more or less hidden culvert; apparently this area is to be 'developed'. But we came away with some pretty shots.
Here's a view from the hill of a double outrigger returning after a night of fishing. And the two other insets show Tridax procumbens, the Lesser Daisy, being visited by two favorite Bees of mine: the Asian Honey Bee, Apis cerana (right); and diminutive Ceratina collusor, the Playful Midget Carpenter Bee. Note the pollen that Cerana has collected.
