Malaysian Sweets. Apis cerana, Asian Honeybee, on Dragon's Eye, Dimocarpus longa, KLCC Park, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

            The KLCC Park is increasingly surrounded by high-rise architecture that takes away much sun and moreover it's being encroached upon by expanding amoebic buildings. Somehow town planners are little eco-minded. 
Still there's a lot to be seen and much of the park's still there.
Here on a Dragon's Eye flower finding her succor is an Asian Honeybee. I think she's a 'cerana', but see Bernhard Jacobi below. It seems to me that she's not dark enough for 'andreniformis' and also a bit larger. They're notoriously difficult to distinguish and indeed were not regarded as different species until relatively recently.
