            Green Wattle Creek fire photographed from somewhere out near Mulgoa.

Spectacular from a distance. No doubt terrifying up close. This season of fires is pretty much beyond comprehension. Most Australian's are really struggling to grapple with the situation even if not directly affected. It has impacted everyone. From concern for our fellow ozzies who have lost everything, to worry about wild life to smoke affecting our daily lives and wondering whether our coastal holidays will ever be the same.

This was a many shot hand held pano so its a bit rough around the edges but gives a sense of the scale of the plumes of smoke we have been seeing.
