Loughrigg Tarn October 2016

            Drove up to the Lake District to try and see some Autumn colours. The weather forecast was goo but what do they know? I got to Keswick for sunrise and it was raining and overcast. So I drove to Ambleside and Loughrigg Tarn. The sky was not great but the sun broke through from behind for about 20 minutes lighting up the tarn (which was pretty flat) and the Langdale Pikes in the background. Then it clouded over again and that was it. So I came home. Oh yes and bizarrely the only shots I took on the whole trip were with a Sigma 70-200. A long lens. But I learnt from my last trip that you need it there.
