DB 218 497-6 - Heiligenstedten - a photo on Flickriver

            IC 2374 Stuttgart Hbf - Westerland (Sylt)

Am Nachmittag des 22. August 2023 stand die die südliche Marschbahn auf dem Plan. Ich hatte es auf den IC 2374 "Wattenmeer" bzw. dessen Zuglok abgesehen. An diesem Tag war nämlich die ehemalige Garantielok des DB Instandhaltungswerkes Cottbus für den letzten Intercity zur Nordseeinsel Sylt verplant gewesen. Die Lok hat, seitdem sie nun zu DB Fernverkehr gehört, doch ein wenig ihr Aussehen verändert bzw. seit meiner letzten Begegnung mit ihr auf der Vogelfluglinie. Die Logos von Märklin und PIKO an den Lokfronten sind ebenso verschwunden wie die seitliche Beklebung von "DB Instandhaltung" inklusive dem "AW Cottbus"-Aufkleber als Heimatbahnhof. Bisher fehlte mir von der Lokomotive die weiße Front komplett in der Sammlung. Alle in meinem Archiv befindlichen Fotos zeigten die schwarze Seite voraus. Dieses konnte ich mir dem obigen Foto nun ändern. Als Fotostelle hatte ich mir die Straßenbrücke bei Heiligenstedten ausgesucht. Dort angekommen konnte ich vor dem IC auch noch eine RB in Form eines verkehrsroten LINTs und einen RE aus Married-Pair-Wagen bespannt mit einer nah.sh 245 fotografieren. Im Anschluss verschlug es mich noch für zwei erfolglose Stunden nach Brokstedt an die Jütlandlinie, bevor es am Abend wieder nach Hause ging...
