Boris the Spider - a photo on Flickriver

Boris the Spider

You've got to be strong now. Meet Boris, whom I found last Friday sitting on a piece of kitchen paper. Boris is, including all eight legs, about 5 mm (appr. 0,19685 inches) "big". This is as close as I could get, in order to get a higher magnification a close-up lens would have been useful, I guess (which I don't have for my M.Zuiko 60mm macro lens). Not the sharpest spider macro, I know, but Boris, understandably, got fed up with being cornered by a huge black thing after a while, and started to move. I put him out on the balcony, where he can find plenty of food and shelter. Thank you Boris for the cooperation :-)

Ihr müsst jetzt ganz stark sein ;-) Sagt hallo zu Boris, dem Spinnchen. Er saß auf einem Stück Küchenpapier. Mitsamt allen acht Beinchen ist Boris einen guten halben Zentimeter "groß". Ich bin so nah rangegangen wie möglich, für noch mehr Vergrößerung wäre wohl eine Nahlinse vonnöten gewesen, die ich aber fürs M.Zuiko 60 mm nicht habe. Nach einer Weile wurde es Boris zu bunt mit dem riesigen Objektiv vor seinen Augen und er wollte weg, also habe ich ihn auf den Balkon gesetzt, wo es genügend sichere Plätzchen und bestimmt auch Nahrung für ihn gibt. Nicht das allerschärfste Spinnenmakro, aber ich mag es trotzdem. Einen großen Dank an Boris für die Kooperation ;-)
