Green, right? Green is great. Green is also a favourite colour of mine, so I have lots of green stuff at home. Probably too many green things to make a proper choice. I have noticed that I took quite a few green macros lately. So actually "Green" is easy. As long you don't have to do it. But as soon as it's the main subject... sooo difficult ;-) Too many choices. There was the green kitchen knife, the green soap dispenser... Then there are my green (and different-coloured; I wouldn't like you to think that simply everything in my home is green) glass beads which look nice on a necklace. And I prepared kale for dinner yesterday. Nice curly leaves, beautifully green. By accident I discovered that the glass bead looked like a vase or flower pot if I put a tiny kale leaflet in its hole. Of course by accident, because who thinks of putting kale leaves in a bead. Well, they were on my living room table (photo studio table, I mean) and I didn't have the slightest idea what to shoot, and how. So the kale leaflet ended up as a bonsai bouquet, and the glass bead as a vase. As usual when I'm a little uninspired (or over-inspired, sometimes the result is the same) the glitter foamsheet and starfilter came to the rescue. Maybe they also screwed the image up (too flashy, and some of the bokeh is blown out), it's also not sharp all over, because I took a single shot instead of using focus stacking because of the background, but in the end I ran out of time and decided this had to do. I hope it does.
The glass bead's diameter is 1,8 cm / 0,7 inches, the kale leaflet is 2,4 cm / 0,94 inches high. Processed in Luminar (structure, clarity, detail enhancer, green enhancer applied to the leaf and bead only), then added a vignette and softly matte film effect (subtle: the green gradient, of course) in Analog Efex, and carefully increased the saturation on some parts of the leaf and the glass bead in Photoshop (sponge tool, 50 %).
A Happy Macro Monday, Everyone!
Wenn man zuviel Auswahl hat... Grün ist eine Lieblingsfarbe, entsprechend viel grünes Zeugs habe ich zuhause. Grüne Messer, einen grünen Spüli-Spender, eine grüne Brotbox, der Toaster ist grün... Ich habe auch hübsche grüne (nicht nur grüne, es ist nicht alles grün bei mir zuhause) Glasperlen, die einzeln an einem Halsreif getragen schön aussehen. Und es gab gestern Grühnkohl (gibt's heute noch einmal), hübsche, krause Blätter, grün. So leicht es mir fällt, Grünes zu fotografieren, wenn ich es nicht muss, so schwierig wird es, wenn es das Hauptthema ist. Aber das ist ja immer so. Also wusste ich nicht recht, was ich machen sollte und auf einmal steckte das kleine Grühnkohlblatt (2,5 cm hoch) in dieser Glasperle (1,8 cm Durchmesser), was durch den Sucher wie ein Blumenarrangement aussah. Es war dann auch schon spät und so habe ich mich entschlossen, dass dieses Foto reichen muss. Leider nicht ganz scharf (ich hatte mich wegen des Hintergrunds gegen Fokus Sstacking entschieden), das Bokeh ist leider auch teils ausgefressen und den Sternfilter hätte ich vielleicht auch besser weggelassen. Sei's drum.
Entwickelt in Luminar (Struktur, Klarheit, Detail- und Grünverbesserung per Maske nur auf Blatt und Perle angewendet), in Analog Efex habe ich eine Vignette und einen leicht matten Filmeffekt angewendet, und in Photoshop habe ich per Schwammwerkzeug (50 %) die Sättigung beim Blatt und der Perle leicht erhöht.
