Male Rose-breasted Grosbeak . . . - a photo on Flickriver

            On the anti-mammal platform of the bird feeder. It was 100% effective at keeping mammals out of everything but the scratch feed until about a year ago when we moved the feeder after some septic system work. It used to sit, well stand, on the tank lid but we thought it'd be best to relocate it after the work. Now squirrels can get into the bird seeds. We still haven't seen one in the act of getting to it, but we're pretty sure they're jumping down onto it from a tree it's near. Chipmonks and raccoons are still repelled.
