Foppe......of Pennsylvania - a photo on Flickriver

            This girl is the "Mother" barn cat.  She is the best thing ever.  

She will catch a field "critter".......run and bring it home to her kittens and watch them eat.  She originally belonged to someone who abused her........because he had a mouse in his mouse and she did not take care of getting rid of it.

I love this girl......her daughter is Candi...the beautiful grey kitten with the huge pretty eyes.  Candi rarely leaves the barn...thank goodness.  Danger lurks around the corners when you leave the barn.

She looked so much like Peter and Paul's "Foppe".....what other name could she be given.  It can be a name for both sexes....male and female.  For a kitty to not have a name is a shame.....an honor to be named after "Foppe of the Netherlands".....after all a whole homestead and acre was named after that kitty, Foppe too.
