On The Edge

            Looking back along the way we've come, the summit of Ben MacDui, from which we've just come (down the shoulder marked to the right), is visible top right as we make our way along the ridge to reach Carn a' Mhaim with Glen Lui to the right and Glen Dee to the left.

Ben Macdui is the UK's 2nd highest peak (second only to Ben Nevis) and stands at 1309m (4294ft).  After descending from this Munro we make a climb to the 2nd Munro of the day, Carn a' Mhaim (pronounced Carn-ah-Vame) at 1037m (3402ft).
