UNREPEATABLE - a photo on Flickriver

UNREPEATABLE

            You could say that about most photo's I suppose but......
40183 heads along the C.L.C. on the outskirts of Chester in April 1983 with a rake of 16 Ton minerals loaded with scrap
The picture was taken from my mother's bedroom window in Westbourne Road
In those days traffic was sparadic and with a lot of light engine movements so trying to get a train was challenging.
I remember when I was 16 and working at Chester Zoo I used to catch an early morning bus and once seeing two class 40's passing at the site of the old Parkgate Road station. 
The line is now closed.....!!!
