ROYAL ALBERT VISTA - a photo on Flickriver

ROYAL ALBERT VISTA

            GWR [BR] 0-6-0PT 6430 and autocoaches head back from Saltash and it's regular shuttle back to Plymouth North Road and is seen crossing the Royal Albert bridge across the Tamar designed by I.K.Brunel
The then new road bridge is in the background. Opened: 26 April 1962 and I would date the picture to the summer of that year as by the end of the year it had transferred to Tondu
The picture is taken virtually opposite the signal box and as the view is certainly wider than was obtainable in the 70's I am wondering if it predates the buildings of the houses.
