Attack on HMS Prince Of Wales and HMS Repulse

            The 1:1250 scale models/ photoshop scene depicts the initial altitude bombing of this British squadron on Dec. 10, 1941 by Japanese land-based bombers. The show of force by the battleship and battlecruiser (+ four destroyers) comprising "Force Z", intended to give the Japanese pause in reinforcing their invasion of the Malayan Peninsula, but was summarily sent to the bottom by subsequent torpedo bomber attacks, against which the British were unable to defend, due to the lack of air cover and the failure of their new "high angle control system" anti-aircraft defense system. In this scene, taken through the bomb bay from an altitude of about 7500 feet, the anti-aircraft fire is detonating too low.
