Cross traffic at 75th St. - a photo on Flickriver

            A Metra Southwest Service commuter train slams the CSX diamonds at 75th St. on NS' former Wabash line in the Forest Hill neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois on a snowy day.

The scene here has dramatically changed since I shot this one. All of the CSX trackage, the mains and leads to Forest Hill Yard to the left, as well as the home signals are all gone. As part of Chicago's CREATE projects this 75th St. Corridor project includes a new overpass for CSX for grade separation from both the NS and BRC railroads.
