B-minor, A-Flat, what was next already ? ...
Do you remember the first words you said to me ?

The library was empty and I was sitting there, hours in the middle of all those books, routinely, lost in deep thoughts, piles of them around me. Like invisible walls, their warmth was a welcomed protection from the world. A delightful parenthesis and a secret Eden for me. The words taking motion as soon as I laid my eyes upon them, starting to slowly dance in the room, whispering in my ears all their great secrets, their joys, their pains, and their darkest fears too. Yes, some were burdened also by the world that was continuing to move outside the building, where everything was colliding into everything else. Some other volumes, lighter, were chanting melodies to me, euphonies and assonances resonating profoundly, lyrics so sweet and dreamy that only I was the witness of. What a privilege it was, stealing me smiles behind those paper pages. There I was, lost in thoughts, finding myself, this was my favorite place in the entire world, safe, quiet, and oh so very lonely.

My hand reached for the next one to marvel at, a paperback with a light purple cover, the artwork showing two hands delicately intertwined carved in it with two words written atop of it : "Love Letter". I sighed and opened it while caressing its side, such a sweet feeling, this was about to be good, I could tell.

Suddenly, the door opened and the wind blew my hair a little, causing me to raise my head in your direction, laying my eyes on you, eager to read you for the first time. There you were, standing tall in that doorframe and I don't know how but my heart skipped a beat. You smiled slightly and said in an oh-so-very hushed tone a ballade of words that were about to change my whole silenced world forever:

" - B-minor, A-Flat, and C-Sharp, I was looking at you from across the street and I swear I could hear you play the piano in my head... "
