Le plateau de Beille est un massif montagneux pyrénéen situé dans le département de l'Ariège. Il se trouve au sud de la vallée de l'Ariège entre Tarascon et Ax-les-Thermes au-dessus des villages des Cabannes, d'Albiès et de Vèbre.
Longtemps, ce plateau a seulement été un lieu d'élevage, surtout bovin. Il est récemment devenu le site d'une importante station de sports d'hiver des Pyrénées, principalement vouée à la pratique du ski de fond, avec des pistes situées entre 1650 et 2000 m d'altitude. Par ailleurs, le plateau de Beille est un point de passage du sentier de grande randonnée GR 10 qui parcourt les Pyrénées d'est en ouest.
Enfin, depuis 1998, l'ascension depuis les Cabannes jusqu'au plateau constitue régulièrement l'ascension finale d'une étape du Tour de France. Le plateau de Beille présente d'ailleurs la particularité que tous ceux qui ont remporté l'étape à son sommet ont par la suite gagné le Tour à Paris, sauf depuis cette année 2011.

Plateau de Beille (Occitan: Plan de Belha) is a ski resort in the Pyrenees. It is situated in the Ariège department, in the Midi-Pyrénées. The winter sports station lies at a height of 1,790 metres (5,870 ft).
The ski station is located between Tarascon-sur-Ariège and Ax-les-Thermes, close to the Spanish border. The ski slopes are at between 1,650 and 2,000 metres (5,410 and 6,560 ft). The station is the most important in the Pyrenees for cross-country skiing.
