Who left the door open! - a photo on Flickriver

            Driving in Montana toward Helena was incredibly frustrating. It was gorgeous, not just here and there, but everywhere. We travelled along river banks, through deep valleys, by giant hoodoos, and stunning landscapes along the way. 

There was no time to stop and enjoy the roses so to speak; we were on a mission. I took note of this one place on the way down and since it was just south of the boarder, asked the family for a short.                  
 break before crossing back into Alberta upon our return. The light was good for an Autumn day and it struck the far grove well. The shadows in the hills were just right for dimension and the open door of the long abandoned shack completing the depth. 

One image to bring home from Montana and at least it was a colorful and interesting one. In those immortal words, "I shall return".
