The plan this morning was to go to the local break wall and try to catch some boats as they head out for a day's fishing. However the boats decided that they felt like a lie in and so I turned my attention to the other side of the wall and there were some surfers just entering the water.

I stayed for about half an hour and reeled over approximately 100 shots whilst testing out different settings on my D7200. My favourite shots were of a couple of kids that looked like brothers who were having a ball - and from what I could tell were pretty good surfers.

I wouldn't like to post pictures without consent of the guardians and so this picture of the back of an adult surfer will suffice.

I also got to know my camera a little better and have learnt quite a bit about shutter speed as well as just how much improvement there is in ISO performance vs my old D90.
