So my new lens arrived today. I finally have a walkaround lens for my new camera and since my SB600 is all repaired I decided to do something I've never done before - play around with slave external flash.

It's fun and I can see why people love playing with it. I only had a five minute play but just unlocking the possibility of manipulating light was pretty exciting.

The light is too harsh and the focus isn't the best but it was nice to be able to open up new things and this is what this year's 365 is about - pushing myself with regards to photography.
