What do the Warrior Games mean to you? 
This is my third Warrior Games. It’s a great time to be back with Air Force people. You feel normal because everyone has either an injury or an illness. There’s great camaraderie here.

What motivated you to try out for the Air Force Warrior Games team?
I’ve been on the Air Force track team in the past, but I haven’t been able to exercise much with my disability. I saw this opportunity on the Internet, so I called to make sure they were not expecting Olympic-type athletes. It gives us the chance to have competition we normally wouldn’t have.
