Quarry or artefact of culture? - a photo on Flickriver

            Whilst stone has been extracted from this dip aside the crest of Quermany Petit, it is impossible to ascertain if the remaining marks register an architecture of people and space or, remnants of inefficient quarrying. A step, a ledge and a zig zag canal aside circular pedestals, or the removal of stone in a non systematic way that does not make use of free edges? A ritual site or a low intensity and slightly naive quarry? The site sits to the side of the crest with other signs of recent small scale quarrying and tantalising remnants that resemble other known late prehistorical sites.
