1/43 Ford Transit Custom Met Police PaDP Van

            This is a 1/43rd scale code 3 model built using a model sold in dealerships in China. It has been repainted red and had all of the black plastic work added back in. 

The model has custom made battenburg livery which is authentic to the real vehicle. This includes little details like the call sign, index plates and yellow ARV dots. On the roof are two 2D Models lightbars and radio aerials. 

The real vehicle seems to have only remained with rear van like panels for a short time. Pictures online show it now has tinted glass windows down both sides. 

It’s used by Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection known as PaDP in the Met. Usually seen outside the Houses of Parliament.
