Trillium georgianum, Cross Plains Flatwoods, Whitfield County, Georgia 1

Georgia wakerobin is very rare in Georgia where it lives in seasonally wet flatwoods in a small area. Much of the population has been destroyed by development. Some plants have been rescued and relocated into similar protected habitats.
