            169 Central Avenue. In the 1920's it was Hyman Rosen Dry Goods, in the ‘30s a men’s haberdashery run by Jacob & Gilbert Doctor. Clover Stores took over in 1946 (making a big deal out of having nylons, which were impossible to find during the war years). Clover merged with Paris, becoming The Clover Paris Stores, around 1960. Sometime in 1966, Clover went under and became John’s Bargain Stores. It’s been several things in the interim, including the NY Job Corps Outreach & Admissions Office and the Mental Health Association of NYS. Now a computer consultant.
