            Boston & Maine ALCO P-2a class 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotive 3629 is seen leading a short 3 car passenger train with the fireman's head sticking out of the gangway, ca early 1940's.  This scene was perhaps captured on a branch line with mostly a baggage, REA and mail train consist which also included a coach.

This photo came from my personnel photo collection and the photographers name was not provided.  Any credit for this photo must be provided to the original photographer.
