The More Things Change - a photo on Flickriver

            We know how that phrase ends, This is one spot where it rings true. Metra once used 6-axle EMD F40C's on this line and many years after the last F40C was retired, 6-axle EMDs have returned to passenger operation on the former Milwaukee mainline. 
Next, while sporting newer signals, is the ages old former PRR signal bridge at Racine Ave. 
Third, the former freight tracks here have been severed, as the last freight customer, ADM, ceased operations in 2019. 
Finally, with an ever-developing skyline, one can still see a Chicago landmark, the John Hancock building, from this spot. How far off is next change and what could it be?
