            Bold in its colors - mainly a bright red - and striking in simplicity, the new Holsum bread wrapper has caused sales of the bread to soar wherever the wrapper has been introduced. Name is visible from any position of loaf. The designer, Egmont Arens, made a survey of retail food outlets in 15 cities to find out what elements in design would make the bread stand out. He came up with that bright red color, especially on the ends of the loaf. Strong logotype is used on billboards, in newspaper and magazine advertising, on trucks, on shopping cases, and even on the stationery of Holsum bakers.
