Ah - I've finished! I actually don't even know what to say really. This project has been such a big part of my life for the past year and to know that this is the last photo is such a weird, sad and cool moment. I remember starting this project on sort of a whim. I thought, hey I'm turning 19 next week - why not start a 52 Weeks Project? So I did. My aim was to first and foremost, document my last year as a teenager and to have fun with it. I wanted to push myself as a photographer and step out of my comfort zone and try new things. Many people believe a 52 Weeks Project is easy but I honestly took this project extremely seriously, making sure I created something I was proud of every single week and to not cheat. I'm proud to say that I achieved those two goals, even on the weeks when uni was stressing me out and keeping me up all night.

Now for the obligatory thank yous! Firstly, thank you to my family for helping me out on photo shoots, being my fabulous assistants, driving me to locations, brainstorming ideas with me and putting up with my moods when things didn't work out the way I planned. Mum, thanks for all of your outfits, including this haha. Also, thanks Dad for driving me literally everywhere. You guys are honestly so supportive and I'm so thankful for that. Thank you to those who were willing to give their opinions on my different versions of photos. I'm just going to mention Christian, Gina, Sarah & Ash (& on occasion Ingrid & Madeline) because girls + bro, without you I'd still be staring at the screen switching between layers. Thank you to all of the wonderful people who allowed me to take their photograph. I still can't believe I met over 30 new photographers, most of whom are from flickr and live on the other side of the world. Thank you to those who inspire me every single day. Thanks to my friends who support my photography weirdness and finally, thank YOU! To all of you who comment, message me and favourite my work. You guys are seriously so encouraging and I appreciate your support so, so much. You guys make me extremely determined to create a bigger and better photo every single week.

This year has been so fantastic. I've travelled, met many flickr photographers, purchased my first full frame camera, seen my work physically in a magazine, visited beautiful locations and so much more. I've had so many wonderful adventures including today. This beach is quite significant to our family. We used to spend quite a lot of time in this area when I was little and I knew after coming back a couple of weeks ago, it would be the place where I'd end this project. I knew I had to revisit my first concept too. Dad, Christian and myself had a lot of fun taking this photo. Thanks to Mum for letting me wear one of her gorgeous outfits from her wedding.

Well, I think that's a long enough description. I can't wait to see where photography takes me next! I turn 20 on Monday and while I'm kind of not ready to face my twenties, it's kind of exciting. I am sad to say goodbye to my teen years though. However, it's a new chapter and I'm embracing the change. See you all on the next photo <3 <3
