Robert Louis Ramazzotti (b: January 16, 1917 – d: February 15, 2000 at age 83) was an infielder in MLB who played from 1946 to 1953 with the Brooklyn Dodgers and Chicago Cubs, primarily as a second and third baseman. Born in Elanora, Pennsylvania.

Bob graduated from high school in 1936 and then played ball in the local city league until he was signed by the Dodgers. He made his debut in professional ball in 1940, but ended up serving in the military in World War II from 1942 to 1945.

He wasn't supposed to be in the majors in 1946 but Cookie Lavagetto got injured and later Eddie Stanky had an injury. While in the minors in 1947 he was seriously beaned.
