Guam! - a photo on Flickriver

Guam!

This is the first post with my new PENTAX K-7. I pre-ordered it last month and got it delivered the day before we left for our next vacation, which as you can see is currently in Guam.

This new Pentax K-7 is *sweet*. Shoots easily 2x faster than my old K20D and has built in HDR shooting capabilities. I've done some test shots and the preliminary results are promising. This shot however is still in the normal manner of me taking 5-bracket shots and combining in Photomatix. With the K-7's built-in HDR shooting it will be possible to bypass Photomatix and go straight to Photoshop. Will let y'all know how it goes, along with posts showing the results.

Am here with my bro and his family which is why we decided last-minute to join, as it isn't often we get the families together on a long vacation (besides the usual weekend camping).
