not to be deterred... - a photo on Flickriver

            Truckin's been pretty hectic lately, mostly because of the scheduling, like delivering at 2AM, and crap like that. Plus some equipment problems sprinkled in, and trips to repair shops, nothing major, just time consuming. Today I was actually ahead, time wise, so stopped for 30 minutes on Donner Pass to take some pictures from one of the bridges over the South Yuba River. It was just past noon west coast time, light was harsh. Still took a few pictures from the bridge, kinda scary with cars and trucks flying by, but the bridge shoulder is wide. I happen to notice a stream tributary off to my right and decided to hike down there, hoping once I got into the woods the light would be better. It was better, but not easy to deal with, really high contrast. Was wishing I'd brought my tripod and filters, but hey, just make do with what you brought.
