Weeping Cherry '07

            MSH09 entry for "Light".  The sunlight filters through these pink cherry blossoms, making everything glow with a soft light.

My favorite one, I love the muted dappling in the background, and how the flower is so soft and blends right in.

I've been drooling over last years pictures for a couple months, wanting spring to arrive again!  When I saw my weeping cherry start to bloom finally, I ran out to take a bunch of pictures even before it was in full bloom.  I enjoyed this so much.  

I'm happy to do the pictures early, because there is a wonderful juxtaposition between the dark pink tight buds, to the light pink full blossoms.  I love to see those transitions, sometimes all in one photo.  

Some of these pictures remind me of paintings, maybe watercolors.  

Look at all the ones I uploaded, if you like these!  Yes, I probably took and uploaded too many pictures, but these flowers are so lovely that I couldn't help myself.  :-)
