Bowling pins are a way of life. People ask me, 'Why do you put bowling pins in a lot of your photos?' My answer to them is always the same: I was born to bowling pin. At first it was just a novelty, something fun, something I thought I'd just do on the very first photo in my 365 and be done with it. But it was so exciting, and I thought, hey, why not do it again? I made another photo and that was as much fun as the first. One more won't hurt, I told myself. So I made another, and then another, and another. Soon the bowling pins took over my photos, they became the central focus and I realised I couldn't control it anymore. It had become bigger than me. This was no longer about a boy and his bowling pin; naye, this was now about the bowling pin itself. People come to see the pin, not the guy who took a photo of it.

Bowling pin is my life now, it's more important to me than photography. It's my calling. Come rain, hail or shine, I will never stop pinning. Nobody can take this away from me now.
