2008-10-08cc Church and Tree

The Church of the Holy Apostles, in the gardens of the Agora, and underneath the hill of the Acropolis, in Athens.

At around a thousand years old, the domed church is built in the Athenian style, marrying both Western and Byzantine architecture.

Taken with a Nikon D40, fitted with a Nikkor AFS DX 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6G II lens, processed with Google Picasa, GIMP and Photoscape.
