The historical harbor crane - a photo on Flickriver

            ENG: The Donaulände is the oldest transhipment station of the present Regensburger harbor and here stands an old historical harbor crane of about 1865, directly at the River Dinau-South-Arm near the old town. This was the first time that direct shipments of goods between ship and rail were possible.

GER: Die Donaulände ist der älteste Umschlagplatz des heutigen Regensburger Hafens und hier steht ein alter Historischer Hafenkran von etwa 1865, direkt am Fluss Donau-Südarm unmittelbar an der Altstadt. Damit wurde erstmals der unmittelbare Warenumschlag zwischen Schiff und Eisenbahn möglich.
