            He is one of the most popular riders without a TT win. Fans and spectators expected the first win by no later than the 11th June at the Senior TT. Instead of this, they were getting afraid for long minutes after an horrible crash in the third lap in Bellagarey. A scene that could have come straight from a catastrophe movie with fire, smoke and ashes. Fortunately Guy left the scene with minor injuries only , but his first TT win must wait untill TT 2011.
This photo is from 2010, taped in the paddock in Douglas during the TT. It was a difficult job, this photo, because the adoring fans were present on the scene.
The following text is recent (2016): Guy Martin (born 4 November 1981 in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England) is publicly known primarily as an English motorcycle racer, who also works as a lorry mechanic and TV presenter.
He has mainly competed in long-course road racing events such as the Isle of Man TT, Ulster Grand Prix and North West 200, but also on the short-course, English road circuit at Oliver's Mount. For the 2015 racing season, Martin rode large capacity Tyco BMWs and a smaller Smiths Triumph, but in early 2016 indicated he would not compete again until after a mid-year United States mountain-biking event.[1]
Since 2011, Martin has found success in different aspects of media, appearing as the front man of several television programmes focussing on his passions of engineering, motor vehicles and speed, and penning two books, Guy Martin: My Autobiography (2015) and Guy Martin: When You Dead, You Dead.
