Shadow Dodging

The long straight-on approach to Weston-upon-Trent gives a stunning view of Ratcliffe Power Station, even more stunning when working hard supplying the grid. A welcome patch of light coincided nicely with the arrival of this Leeds to Southampton Freightliner.

A disappointment to some maybe, but this is three images, when the Freightliner arrived, the power station had dropped into the shade, but a couple of moments later it was back in sun and a couple of extra shots were taken one with the left side tree and power station in sun, then another of the rest of the power station in the sun. I didn't didnt up on a tripod so needed a steady hand for a few moments. All blended together in you know what - Photoshop.
