Giganta - a photo on Flickriver

Giganta

            Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
I know, I know, it’s been a while since my last published picture… I must admit, renovating a house takes a very long time. Way longer than we expected with my husband. However we are very pleased with all our work so far and we can clearly see the light at the end of the tunnel. How long will it take to pass thought this tunnel ? We don’t know since our renovation train speed isn’t constant. I don’t know why, but now I’m thinking about math problems. 

A train leaves Madrid at 8:00 pm, averaging 60 mph. Another train heading in the same direction leaves Madrid at 12:00 am, averaging 90 mph.
To the nearest tenth, how many hours after the second train leaves will it overtake the first train? I’m sure you all now what I’m talking about…. 
Don’t expect me to answer this problem since I was (and still I am !!)  truly very, very bad at maths. 

Today, I decided to celebrate Sliders Sunday with this highly processed picture of a sculpture exposed near my local subway station during this summer. Apparently it is a working women (she is holding a hammer !), a tribute to all the hard workers out there. And since this sculpture was huge (about 10 feet high) and very impressive, I decided to call this lovely lady Giganta.
