Sandon To Canning - Take Five - a photo on Flickriver

Having turned in the "Pool" the Danny did a slow pass back up the river before sidling up to the wall getting roped up to ensure a "bash free" entrance into Canning Half Tide Dock. There is no lock so entrance and exit via the gate is timed to match the tide. A couple of weeks in the dock and then it's the start of the 2024 programme of cruises sometimes on the Manchester Ship Canal but mainly on the Weaver. There are also one or two visits back to Liverpool.
