Pregnante e capace di trasmettere emotività la performance Terra Mater che Vito Bongiorno realizza in collaborazione con Inside Art al Macro di Testaccio a Roma in occasione della fiera Roma contemporary.

Una modella, simbolo della purezza, è dipinta di blu e si muove tenendo in mano un globo terrestre le cui terre emerse sono realizzate con il carbone a significare l'inquinamento ecologico e sociale che caratterizza la nostra epoca. _ Movimenti lenti e cadenzati comprendono il cullare di questa sfera da parte della modella con un riferimento alla Pietà di Michelangelo.

Il corpo della donna lascia poi le proprie impronte su di una tela bianca come atto d'amore verso l'umanità. L'intimità caratterizza questa performance che si vuole dare come dono morale e di speranza in un'epoca in cui terremoti e stragi si verificano puntualmente.
