Watkin Path Waterfalls IV - a photo on Flickriver

            Back in early July I visited Snowdonia National Park in Wales and had what can only be described as the best days photography I have ever had. Me and my partner hiked up the Watkin path towards the summit of Snowdon. Our aim wasn’t to climb to the peak but to explore and photograph the series of cascading waterfalls half way up the climb. These falls stretch for about 1/4 of a mile and they are breathtakingly beautiful to any landscape photographer. We spent the best part of 6 hours there with perfect overcast conditions for photographing waterfalls. This is my sixth edited portfolio shot form that day. This image has taken a long time to edit and finally when I was happy with it I counted up x18 radial filters and x6 liner grads used in Lightroom. Sometimes edits are obvious to you and you know exactly where to take them and sometimes like this image it has to be laboured over to extract the final image that best portrays how you remember the day and how it made you feel.
