Shell of binary trees - a photo on Flickriver

Here is another pattern seashell that has drawn a remarkable pattern on its exterior (which was produced naturally, not human-drawn or simulated with Photoshop). In this case, the patterns are binary trees, which are a common organizing structure in computer science. In fact, this particular shell came in second place in a computer science graph drawing contest.
