Power of Simplicity @ Kerala, India - a photo on Flickriver

Happy photography day to everyone.

Last year I went to the backwater region of the state of Kerala in India. What was an experience. Specially when we went to this place which is a resort called Kondai Lip Backwater Heritage Resort. I always believed in the power of simplicity and this place was an example of it. I wish I could stay longer. You wake up with the chirping of the birds and you can just get out of your room and see the sun slowly awakening and the locals do their business with rand rowing boat. You can clearly hear the sound of those rowing boat. What a fantastic natural ambiance. Definitely a place I would love to go back and spend some quality time.

And the film I made of this region is really close to my heart. It bring me back to this place again and again. What a memory and not a better day to share it than the world photography day!
