golden balloons

            the sun sets over portixol, its golden warmth permeating the dining room, but inside, the celebration glows with a softer, more intimate luminescence. balloons in shades of ripe peaches and stormy greys cluster in a corner, their surfaces a symphony of sheens, some matte like a quiet dawn, others gleam as if kissed by the last stroke of twilight. a solitary ribbon curls, an accidental sculpture, twining around the knot of a balloon whose color whispers of the mellow murmur of waves against the nearby shore. in this small frame, a universe of celebration hums, each balloon a planet, the ribbon a comet tail, all orbiting the quiet joy of a shared life. the frame is not merely filled with balloons; it brims with the unspoken promise of wishes waiting to be whispered and the hushed rustle of memories in the making.
