A tulip from Amsterdam - a photo on Flickriver

            This is one of about a hundred that arrived and were planted last fall and has finally bloomed. After a long, snowy winter and a dank, dark spring, the color is a welcome sight here in northeastern Ohio. I can barely tell a tulip from a daffodil, but I particularly like the color and pointy tips of this particular variety.
