There are two Photo Expeditions to this lake and neighborhood in my Flickr Albums, once in 2016, and another time in 2019.

When I was really young, and our family lived in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, we visited relatives in Echo Park.

Beginning around the time of the pandemic, if memory serves, a large homeless population set up a tent city around Echo Park Lake. They were eventually evicted and a large fence has been erected all around the park, with only a few entrances.

I was going to take my drone up here on Sunday, but turned around when it began to rain. The after rain skies on Monday were spectacular.

EDIT: Explored at 146 on 12/07/22. The 99th image of mine to land on the Explore page and the first since I retired from my 34 year occupation as an electrical designer! This photo was taken on the Monday of my first full week of retirement!
