Walsham-le-Willows outstation - a photo on Flickriver

            Eastern Counties Walsham-le-Willows outstation on Saturday 3 August 1975. The two buses, VR311 and LM978 both having just arrived 'home' for the evening. The outstation shed, in Hepworth Road, dates from 1932 and variously had either one or two buses allocated during its history. In its final days the allocation was increased, once again, to 2 x VRs from 1 June 1987, with its own bus plus the transfer of the service 913 bus from Thetford outstation. It finally closed on 30 April 1989 with one VR transferring back to Thetford outstation and the other moving 'instation' to Bury St Edmunds depot. The shed was demolished by April 2006 and now nothing remains except a memory.
