Capas Shrine Tarlac - a photo on Flickriver

            
    Established as Camp O'Donnell in 1940.....transformed into a prisoner war camp by the Japanese Army after the "Fall of Bataan" and surrender of the Filipino and American troops. On July 25 1942, approximately 30,000 Filipino and American prisoners died of sickness and malnutrition while under detention.
